My Spiritual Awakening

My mom always read the last few lines of the novel, because she wanted to know the ending. And when she passed it was not the end, but only her beginning. So, it may seem bizarre that she has this power or maybe it’s my reflection, and interpretation of life that may be skewed. Since life and death are a continuum of time with no pause button, our innermost secrets and thoughts continue to be the most vulnerable, for they are narrated by us.

Validating oneself is an integral part of self love and forgiveness. Remembrance of others is a reflection and a jaded mirror of time. How we interface with a loved one can be self defining and evolving, for it is not a race, it is a process. Life and lessons we master are only the small specs of dust that are interconnected to the larger picture. Until one day we awaken and realize that we need to interface with thyself to become the person we want to be, and not that fictitious person others admire.

As in many religions, self-reflection is the predominant force driving the end result, which in essence is absolution. So, is self reflection the forgiveness? Or, can it be one’s faith and higher spiritual awakening which is the driving force of vindication? And, if that is the case… is reflection a moment in time, and a sacred space that you have earned and own? That is a question of pondering.
